MEET THE FOUNDER
Jovan Tevin is a movement artist, dedicated teacher, and visionary behind To Exist. His journey with movement began in gymnastics, which led him to the world of competitive cheerleading, where he became a World Champion in 2013. These early disciplines instilled in him a deep understanding of strength, discipline, and the artistry of movement.
After years of coaching gymnastics and competitive cheer, Jovan’s path evolved toward yoga. In September 2018, he began practicing Ashtanga, drawn to its structured yet meditative nature. His dedication led him to study under esteemed teachers, ultimately receiving a blessing to teach Mysore-style Ashtanga from Rich Ray and Didi Von Deck.
As a resident teacher at Vikasa Yoga and an international instructor, Jovan has built a reputation for his strong yet fluid approach to practice—one that blends discipline with deep self-awareness. At the heart of his philosophy is the belief that self-discipline is an act of self-love—a means of honoring oneself through consistency, presence, and devotion.
